Small old wood picture frame for picture format 14,8 x 10,5 cm from Cape Town

The picture frames by Luna Designs are made from 100% recycled wood. The wood is collected from various places in Cape Town and the surrounding area and brought from there to the Luna Designs farm in the Karoo semi-desert. In the climate of the Karoo, the wood can dry for up to two years and is freed from nails, screws and dirt. The employees of the Luna Design Company make sure that the individual patina of each wooden fillet is preserved and transport the old wood fillets back to Cape Town for picture frame production.

The special feature of the Fillet picture frames is the combination of a 0.75 cm narrow outer frame and an approx. 5 cm thick inner frame.

Today, Luna Designs produces old wood picture frames in various formats. The picture frames DIN A6 Fillet are the smallest rectangular picture frames in modern fillet design with a thin outer frame. They have space for a picture or photo in the picture size approx. 10.5 x 14.8 cm.
All recycled picture frames have 3 mm thick glass and are supplied with an attractive motif. Flexible slats on the back make it possible to quickly replace them with your own motifs.

As the Luna Designs picture frames are handmade, the dimensions given may vary by a few millimetres from picture frame to picture frame.
