Luna Designs rectangular reclaimed wood picture frame for the picture format 14,8 x 21 cm from Cape Town

The Luna Designs A5 picture frames are made entirely from recycled wood. The wood for these rectangular picture frames with the classic double moulding is collected at several collection points in Cape Town and the surrounding area and brought from there to the Luna Designs farm in the Karoo. In the dry climate of the Karoo semi-desert, the wood is then stored for up to two years before being cleaned of nails, screws and dirt. The employees make sure that the individual patina of each wooden strip is preserved and transport the wood back to Cape Town for picture frame production. In Cape Town, the reclaimed wood mouldings are then turned into these rectangular picture frames made from 100% reclaimed wood.

Today, Luna Designs produces picture frames in different formats. The picture frames DIN A5 Rectangular are picture frames in a classic design with two mouldings made of reclaimed wood. They have space for a picture or photo in the picture size approx. 14.8 x 21 cm.
All Luna Designs picture frames come with 3 mm thick glass and a black and white motif. Flexible slats on the back make it possible to quickly replace them with your own black and white or coloured motifs.

As the Luna Designs picture frames are handmade, the dimensions given may vary by a few millimetres from picture frame to picture frame.
