Large Luna Designs panorama picture frame made of reclaimed wood for picture size DIN A3 Panorama from Cape Town

The large Luna Designs Panorama Picture Frames DIN A3 Panorama are also made entirely from recycled wood. The wood for these large, narrow picture frames with the classic double moulding is collected from various locations in Cape Town and the surrounding area and brought from there to the Karoo semi-desert on the Luna Designs farm. In the dry climate of the Karoo, the wood is then stored for up to two years and then freed from nails, screws and dirt. The employees of Luna Designs make sure that each piece of wood retains its individual patina of signs of use, holes and varnish and transport the wooden slats back to Cape Town for production. In Cape Town, the picture frames are then handcrafted from 100% reclaimed wood.

Today, Luna Designs produces picture frames in different formats. The picture frames DIN A3 Panorama are picture frames in a classic design with two strips of scrap wood. They have space for a picture or photo in the picture size approx. 21 x 42 cm.
All Luna Designs picture frames come with 3 mm thick glass and a black and white motif. Flexible slats on the back make it possible to quickly replace them with your own black and white or coloured motifs.

As the Luna Designs picture frames are handmade, the dimensions given may vary by a few millimetres from picture frame to picture frame.
